Description
The YPJ is an all-female militia fighting alongside the Kurdish resistance in Syria. The print itself was made by Calverts, a workers’ collective in London. The image based on Paul’s Clockwork Britain classic, which in turn was inspired by David Pelham’s cover artwork for Anthony Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange, but rebooted to feature a YPJ soldier. Stick it in the dining room to inspire lively dinner party conversation.
