Description
Graffiti has existed for millennia, and the earliest form it took was that of a pithy slogan in a public place. And rather than create street art which only other writers ‘get’ (not that there’s anything wrong with that) Banksy often employs graffiti tactics that everyone understands. Out of shot: hordes of tourists taking a photo of Big Ben.
The shot appears in Banksy Captured Volume One and was taken during the early 2000s in my role as Banksy’s official photographer.
