Early 20th Century plans chest restored and up-cycled using spray paint, routing, printed image and resin finish.
H: 90cm W: 123cm D: 90cm
This early 20th Century plans chest has been renovated and sprayed hot pink all over using a compressor spray gun for a smooth consistent finish. The colour is throughout including the underneath and the insides of the drawers.
The tabletop has been routed to create a decreasing geometric oblong pattern, printed with a close-up nano-lens graffiti image photographed by myself, and sealed in resin along the top and sides so it is completely flat and wipe-clean. We've dubbed the style 'Psychedelic Geometric'.
The original fittings (tag holders on the front of the drawers) have been cleaned and restored.
We use plans chests like these for storing print editions flat, so it comes highly recommended for your edited art collection.
Laz Emporium usually offers free shipping for high value items but we can’t do so for this. Shipping will need to be arranged and charged for after any online purchases (we will email you). The piece is stored at our West Country studio if you would like to arrange your own shipping.
