Description
If you don’t know ground-breaking 1960s magazine Oz, think of all the most interesting stuff you get in the modern-day style press but without any of the irritating bollocks. Oz combined edgy lifestyle features (about sex and drugs, basically) with hardcore news stories, like an exposé of torture conducted on behalf of the military government in Greece. The covers were illustrated by the eminent graphic artists of the day, plus staff included Germaine Greer, Felix Dennis, and many other reality-shifting characters. Several issues were banned under the obscenity act.
This is what you want on your coffee table rather than some try-hard fashion and ‘lifestyle’ magazine, so fill your boots.
