Description
This particular portrait was taken by myself obvs, and appeared in The Guardian newspaper during the late 1990s. (The journalist writing the piece, Simon Hatterstone, went on to become the paper’s top interviewer and a decorated war correspondent.) The old school film photography printed on wooden substrates works brilliantly, and the colours on the stencil kick arse. Plus, the ‘jacket collar pulled up over the mouth’ look has come storming back into fashion
