Adbusters is still going, apparently. The anti-capitalist mag beget Occupy Wall Street (even starting the hashtag), Digital Detox Week and Buy Nothing Day. Founded in Vancouver way back in 1989, it was very much the thing in the 90s and early 2000s. And you have to hand it to them for putting Banksy on the cover in 2002. He even made a one-off version of ‘Love is in the Air’ featuring a catchy strapline: ‘I want you to curb your consumption.’ OK maybe not the catchiest one he ever came up with but certainly the only time this image was adorned by words. This is rare, incidentally. Vintage but in great condition.
