Description
The ‘Smile’ helmets are the latest wearable works from WBs ‘Metropolitan Peace’ collection. These battle-scarred police riot helmets have been reclaimed and spray painted, before mounting on an illuminated steel helmet stand. Glowing from within, the smiley face obscures the visor, blurring the barrier between policeman and civilian.
This limited edition multi-functional piece also serves as a table lamp when not in use as a street riot accessory. For existing collectors, this new helmet range co-ordinates perfectly with War Boutique’s 2010 ‘Smile’ glow-in-the-dark riot shields.
